Lead Designer, Interactive

We're seeking a creative and insightful designer, pixel crafter, UI brainiac, and branding expert - bundled up in one. This is a full-time, salaried role on our team in our Birmingham, Alabama office. Your salary and benefits are relative to your level of skill, education and experience. In general, your contribution to the team includes:

creating beautiful and functional web and print design for our clients' identity, branding and communication efforts,
devoting yourself to simplifying complex communication by researching client needs and envisioning improved solutions,
assisting with corporate branding, marketing, training and conferences.

The core skills you must have:

Minimum of 3 years experience with Web design and print design
Experience with UI design, identity development and branding
The ability to produce beautiful, detail-oriented, smart design using design applications like Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
A solid understanding and ongoing curiosity of common Web and scripting languages (HTML, CSS, and Javascript)

Some bonus skills that will set you apart:

Intense knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery
Being fanatic about details and pixel perfection
Comfort with video editing and production
BFA or higher in graphic design or similar creative degree
